From paste to permanent
SuperGuide is built on one idea: reading feels like learning, but being asked is learning. Here is the whole pipeline, no hand-waving.
1. Paste anything
Lecture notes, an article, a chapter, a messy braindump. SuperGuide reads your paste and extracts atomic facts: one testable thing each, sorted so the most fundamental come first. It labels every fact as a term, number, date, step, pair or concept, and writes wrong answers that match the real one in unit and scale, so a date question tempts you with plausible dates, never with someone's name.
2. Play it in seconds
Facts stream in live: the first question is on screen in about two seconds on a real phone, before the rest of the deck has even finished forming. Games are views over the same facts, so one deck becomes multiple choice, cloze blanks, flip cards, matching pairs, ordering puzzles, true or false and speed rounds. Same knowledge, asked differently, which is exactly what stops recognition from impersonating memory.
3. Keep it for good
Every fact gets its own review schedule from FSRS, a modern open spaced-repetition algorithm. It models how fast each fact fades for you, then re-asks it right before that happens. Miss it and it comes back sooner; nail it and the gap stretches: days, then weeks, then months. Two minutes a day keeps a whole deck alive.
Why not just flashcards?
Classic flashcard apps make you do the hardest part yourself: writing good cards and good wrong answers. Most people quit there. SuperGuide does that part in seconds and spends your effort where it counts, on answering. The spaced-repetition science is the same one the serious tools use; the homework is gone.
